Wife of William E. Church, mother of Louisa and Bertha Church. Alice also took on the responsibility of raising her husband's son, Leroy Church, from his first marriage. William was widowed and Alice married him at the age of 17. He was 30. William also lost another son to illness about the time that his first wife died. Alice and William Church also had 3 other daughters that died in early childhood or infancy, Alice, Lizzie Mae and Mabel.
