| Birth: | Nov. 13, 1919 | | Death: | May 9, 1982 |  Ted was in the 10th Mountain Division, Special Ops for the Army based out of Colorado for WW II. During the War, Ted received the Silver Star as a medic. He also received the Bronze Star for going above and beyond as a medic. After the war, he and Martha had an only son, John. John followed in his dad's footsteps and joined the Army during Vietnam while only in 10th grade. John was a Helicopter Mechanic and his chopper was named Susie. When not a mechanic, he was a door gunner. The family lived thruout the mountains in Colorado as Ted became a miner and a logger. Ted died on Mothers Day in 1982, which became a very sad day (Mothers Day) for Martha. Martha moved in with John and family in California in 1993, where she stayed until passing in 2008.
