Elsie Ora Lasher, age 87, of 33 Brown Street, Union City, passed away at her residence Friday, November, 21, 1986. (Home of her daughter Martha Smith) She was born August 20, 1899, at Avonmore, Pa., the daughter of Albert and Ella (Lambing) Walker. She had been a housewife. She was preceded in death by parents, her husband and four sons. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alberta Woods of Aliquippa, Pa., and Mrs. Frank (Sarah) McClelland and Mrs. Orville (Martha) Smith, both of Union City; one son, James Lasher of Jefferson, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Annie Hopkins of Apollo, Pa.; 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Friends called at the Thomas E. Morgan Funeral Home, Union City, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. and attended a service at the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Robert I. Rossman of the Full Gospel Church of Pleasantville, Pa., officiating. Interment was in Spring Church Cemetery, Spring Church, Pa.
