Clarissa Monique Tommie, 28, of Miami, Oklahoma passed away from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Her boyfriend, Charles Paul "Charlie" Shelton also of Miami, lost his life in the same accident.
Clarissa was born to Mike Tommie and Angela Charloe and lived in Miami most of her life.
She was a blackjack dealer at the Grand Lake Casino, Miami for the past ten years.
Survivors include her mother, of Miami, and her father, of Brighton Indian Reservation in Florida.
Graveside services were Saturday, October 28, 2006 with Brian White officiating and conducting Native American rites. A tenth day feast and celebration of her life was held at dusk on Saturday, November 4, 2006.
