Bill Ring was a part of TV's California Hayride in Richmond, California with hosts Cal Smith and Hank Cochran. He later became a vital part of Korn's-a-Krack'n radio show on KWTO in Springfield, Missouri and the nationally syndicated ABC-TV program, The Ozark Jubilee, hosted by Red Foley which had a weekly viewing audience of 25 million people. He also worked as an announcer for WMAQ in Chicago, Illinois. In the latter years at KWTO, his regular morning show was known as "Ring Around the Ozarks". He coined the popular phrase, "If you're too busy to go fish'n...you're TOO BUSY!" (bio by J. D. McConnell)
