Lani, was the daughter of Merlyn and Edie Smith Ross. She died as the result of injuries suffered in a car-tractor rig accident while coming home from her nurses training class at BUCKEYE HILLS.
Lani, was a tremendouslsy talented young lady. She was following in the footsteps of her parents.Meryln was an associate professor of music and Edie a professor of music at University of Rio Grande. She sang in the various choirs of Gallia Academy, Grace United Methodist Church and the Grand Chorale at URG.
Lani, was a contestant in the Miss OHIO pagenant and was voted Miss CONGENALITY for the year 1975.
Her talents for music were extraordinary and she was getting ready to go to Nashville to record.
She is sadly missed by her sister Stephanie and her brother Allen Ross
