Mom was born to Leroy and Geneva Edwards on February 29th, 1936. She loved being a leap year baby. On years when there was no 29th she said she got 2 birthdays and celebrated on the 28th and the 1st. She met my dad on a blind date and after the first date said he was a nice man, but she wasn't interested in seeing him again. She changed her mind and they were married on May 17, 1958. She was a wonderful mother to me and my brother and loved my daughter, her only grandchild fiercely. She worked at National Life Insurance in Evansville, Indiana for 15 years. She was secretary at Chandler Methodist Church for 27 years where she was a member. She was loved by many people, a good friend and confidant. I'm proud to say we were best friends when she died. I couldn't be more proud to say that she was my mom, and I love her and miss her every day. Rest well with the angels mom. Please help me watch over my darling girl.
Cause of Death: Sepsis caused by kidney stone.
