My Maternal Grandparents.
I lived with my grandparents in 1963/64, when my Mom was first divorced, and trying to raise 4 small children, on her own.
Times were tough, and we were poor, but there was alot of love.
I remember my Grandmother making me dresses from "flour sacks"- and we always knew what the main course for supper was- she'd go out in the yard, and the wring the neck off, one of the chickens.
They were very strict, and taught me alot. I didnt like living there, then, but sure can appreciate it now! Trish
