Lifelong Rainier resident Winifred E. Hadlock passed away at home Jan. 2, 2009.
She was born May 28, 1918, to Myron and Blanche Whitbeck in Rainier.
On Sept. 4, 1936, she married Floyd Hadlock.
They had 12 children:

Winifred enjoyed many things. Her favorites were babies and gardening. She spent a great deal of time in her flower gardens and showed them off with great pride. There were always fresh arrangements from her garden in the house and sent home with family. She collected dolls, bells, thimbles and Hummel's. She also enjoyed sporting events, mostly when her family was participating.
