BETTY JEAN ANDREWS, 88, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012. Born in Fort Wayne, she volunteered for over 40 years at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Surviving are her sons, Jim (Deb) Andrews of Fort Wayne, Larry (Sue) Andrews of Angola and Denny (Mary) Andrews of Rome City; sister, Helen Heine of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents, Ralph and Mary Bubb; and sister, Eileen Haas. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at St. Jude Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with a Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jude Catholic Church or Heartland Hospice.
