AMEND - Mrs. Ada Muriel Amend, 80, died Friday, Feb. 28, 1969, at Hiawatha. She was a native of Nortonville but had lived in the Horton area for 40 years until about a year ago when she moved to the Oak Ridge nursing home in Hiawatha. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Horton.
Survivors include her son, Victor Earl Amend, Jr., Indianaapolis, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Putt, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Miss Muriel M. Amend, Council Grove; a sister, Mrs. O.D. Geiger, Hiawatha, and five grandchildren.
Services were Monday at the United Methodist Church in Horton. Burial was in the Horton Cemetery.
