Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Mr. Allison was born Feb. 4, 1941, in Powderly, Texas. He and Vera Joyce Bridges were married Aug. 20, 1966, in Weatherford, Texas.
He worked for the Patoma Corporation in Fort Worth as a machinist in the aircraft industry. He built parts for the first F-111 fighter planes. He moved to Seymour in 1984. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pilot Point, Texas.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kathy Hollar of Seymour; a son, Ricky of Fort Worth; four sisters, Jeannie Jones of Holliday, Texas, Patty Vincent of Seymour, Polly Bradshaw of Fort Worth and Frances Bolin of Pilot Point; a brother, Paul of Pilot Point; three grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
