DeMANUELE, REV. JAMES A., C.P. 54, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006, at 1:45 A.M. He lived at the Passionist Community, Sacred Heart Retreat, 1924 Newburg Road. He was a native of St. Louis, MO, and was a son of St. Francis de Sales Parish. He was a member of the Passionist Community for 32 years and a Catholic priest for 28 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred J. DeManuele; and sister, Janine M. DeManuele, Ph.D. He is survived by his mother, Mary L. DeManuele; brothers, Dennis (Joan) and John (Pauline) DeManuele; sister, Michelle M. Shaver; nephews, Jeffery and Andrew DeManuele and Stephen, Justin and Jonathan Shaver; niece, Jennifer DeManuele; and care- giver, John White. The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Road, with burial in the Passionist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the church, with a prayer vigil service at 7 p.m. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Passionist Missions in India. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bosse Funeral Home.
