My Father was a good man, I remember him always taking me to the store, the park's, and never recall him ever raising his voice.

I was 4 years old when my Mom and Dad got divorced and he would come visit me and my sister very often, until my mom moved away with us.

My Father was adopted by my Grandmother's husband John Stearns his Biological Father is named "Billy Rhinehart" My Grandfather Rhinehart & Grandma Faye Divorced after my Dad's brother was born "Jim Rhinehart Stearns" in 1946, she re-married in 1947.

From both of my Grandmother's I learned that he was very sad after my mom divorced him, and never truly recovered from a broken heart. When he moved to Washington I never saw him again, the last time I remember him I was 9 years old, I was looking for him in my twenties I wanted to find him and this is when I found out he had died like only one month before he died very young of a heart attack at 46, I was devastated to learn this. I had missed his funeral they had his body sent back from WA to California. What is interesting to me is that he is buried only like 1 mile away from my husband who had died in April of 90' they are at the same Cemetery it was a nice surprise for me to learn they were close by each other.

I always missed my Dad as a child, I had a wonderful step Father however, I always missed my biological Father. I will always remember the loving dad that he was when I was a child.

I look forward to seeing him in heaven one day.

"I love you Daddy"
