August 3, 1917
Rockville, Md., Augu. 2. —Miss Ann L. England, daughter of the late John G. England, of Rockville, and Dr. Charles Abert, also of Rockville, were married this evening at the home of the bride, by the bride’s brother, the Rev. Howard G. England, curate of Rock Creek Episcopal Church, Washington, assisted by the Rev. Millard F. Minnick, rector of Christ Church, Rockville.
The bride’s only attendant was her little niece, Miss Evelyn T. Brown, of Chestertown, Md., as flower girl. Another niece, Miss Catherine H. England, of Washington, played the marches. After a reception for the members of the two families Dr. and Mrs. Abert left for a Northern trip. Dr. Abert has for many years been connected with one of the government departments in Washington.

Remains resting at the Colonial funeral home of William Reuben Pumphrey, Rockville, Md. Funeral services at Christ Episcopal Church, Rockville, Md., on Sunday, February 4, at 2:30 p.m. Interment Rockville Union Cemetery.
