Odessa L Adams passed away Friday, October 5, 2012.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 in the Walker-Brown Chapel with Rev. Wallace Thames officiating. Interment will be in the White Rose Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Odessa Lorean Adams was born September 28, 1939 in Bartlesville to James Otis and Wilma Lorene (Lewis) Walker. Odessa loved to read and was a writer. She was an avid studier of genealogy, enjoyed being outdoors and for a time she was a health care provider.
Odessa is survived by three stepchildren; Earnest Adams of Tulsa, Clarence Adams of Bartlesville and John Adams of Tulsa. Two brothers; James Walker of Dewey and Roger Walker of Bartlesville. Four sisters; Carol Lay and Mary Anne Goree of Prue, Karen Morgan and Martha Mitchell of Dewey, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Odessa was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Adams, her parents and one sister, Velva Walker..
