Steven Harness

Steven Harness, 59, of Bangor, died at home on August 31, 2012.
He was born on April 4, 1953 to Thomas and Ella Mae (Huckaby) Harness in Clinton, Tenn. Steve served in the United States Army for 24 years and also in the National Guard for Navy Rescue. Steven was affiliated with Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Haven.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Steven is survived by his wife, Linda Harness of Bangor, Mich.; his children – Victoria (Michael) Clement of Ga., Hope Doss of South Haven, Kathryn (Dennis) Cliffman of Allegan, Mich., David (Karla) Harness of Louisville, Ky., Brent (Katie) Wisneski of Paw Paw, Mich., and Rachael (Drew) Leslie of Grand Bay, Ala.; grandchildren - Alex and Emma Hunt, Brevyn Wisneski and Asher Leslie, Regan and Logan Slone and Hayes and Reid Harness; six brothers – Curtis Harness, Gary Harness, James Harness, Kenneth Harness, Howard Harness and Levi Harness; and one sister, Patsy Harness.
Visitation was on Thursday, September 6 from 6-8 p.m. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral service was on Friday, September 7, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev Robert Linstrom officiating. Burial toook place at Chambers Cemetery in Geneva Township.
