Geneva Ellen Hunt of Westcliffe died Wednesday, Dec 24th at Progressive Care Center, Canon City. she was born Jan 27, 1892 in Westcliffe and was 88 years of age.

Mrs. Hunt, a lifetime resident of Westcliffe and Custer County, married Clarence B. Hunt in October 1911. He preceded her in death in 1942.

Mrs. Hunt was a member of the Lutheran Church. She was the mother of four children, Edna Geraldine Green of Silver Cliff, Marian Lucille Elze of Neuman Lake, Washington and Myrrl Gladys Allen of Pueblo who survives, as do one sister Ethel Kastendieck of Westcliffe, 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Her fourth child, Albert Clarence Hunt, preceded her in death.

Services will be held Monday December 29, 1980 at 2 pm at the Hope Lutheran Church in Westcliffe. Rev. John Bredehoft officiating; interment, Ula Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to their favorite charity.
