PEARLIE MARIE HONAKER ARNETT, 65 years of age of Jolo, WV passed away Sunday, March 28, 2004 at Clinch Valley Medical Center, Richlands, VA. Born in McDowell County, January 1, 1939 she was the daughter of Rebecca Vance Honaker of Jolo, WV and the late George W. Honaker. She was a lifelong resident of McDowell County, a member of the Community Church of the Living God, was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband: James Edward Arnett; one infant son: Bobby Arnett; one brother: George ?Bobby? Honaker; one grandson: Anthony Wayne Kindoll; one step-grandson: Paul Blankenship; two great-grandchildren: Kelly Short and Austin Kindoll and three step grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother: Rebecca Vance Honaker of Jolo, WV; one daughter: Margaret Kindoll and husband Bobby of Jewell Ridge, VA; two sons: Don Lee Arnett and wife Velda of Paynesville, WV, James Allen Arnett and wife Angie of Jolo, WV; four sisters: Peggy Cole and husband R. C. of Jolo, WV, Joann Rowe of VA, Frances Wimmer and Anna Clark and husband Leon all of Jolo, WV; one brother: Arvil ?Boo? Honaker and wife Lynn of Jolo, WV; special friends: Karen Bryant, Janet Ward, Rosalee and Joe; a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one granddaughter: Angelia Kindoll Shortt and husband Greg; five grandsons: Steven Kindoll and wife Kayla, William Arnett, Eric Arnett, Robbie Arnett and Bradley Arnett.
Funeral services for Pearlie Marie Honaker Arnett will be held Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Community Church of the Living God on Three Forks, Jolo, WV with Ministers: Jimmy Cole, Charlie Cooper and Gilbert Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Tom Sparks Cemetery on Rock Ridge at Paynesville, WV.
Active Pallbearers will be Dean Cole, Steven Kindoll, Arvil Honaker, Ryan Honaker, Tim Clark, Matthew Cole, Dwayne Rowe, Jeff McClanahan and Robbie Arnett. Honorary Pallbearers will be R. C. Cole, Leon Clark, Oscar Lockhart, David Cole and Roger Ward.
