He was preceded in death by brothers, Jack Martin, Oscar Martin, G. C. Martin, Jr. and a sister, Flora Martin Neal.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Arrant Martin and stepsons Walter Brooks and Travis Brooks; stepdaughter Dorothy Talor of West Monroe. Surviving siblings include brothers Raymond Martin and Harold Martin; sisters Lora Watson, Wanda Wittlif, Joyce Gregory, Irene Wilson, Bernice Lively, Inez Veevers and Cora Shirley.
