Marlene was born to Darwin and Olga Hayes March 18, 1939 at her home in Nampa. She attended Nampa Schools. She married Louis Archuleta in Pocatello, ID.
She worked at Zilog in Nampa for 18 years. She also worked at Health and Welfare, The Arc and CCOA through the Senior Citizen Program.
Marlene loved garage sales, all types of music, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She had a special relationship with everyone of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Marlene is survived by her children, Monica (Merle), Steven (Rene), Kristin, Nicole, Sam and Alyssa (Jonnie); her stepchildren, Louis, Darrell and David; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers; and several good friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Louis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Private burial will be in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa.
