Annette Wales Dotson

Annette Wales Dotson, 75, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at her home in Hitchcock surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Annette was born to Leslie Richard and Flora Harding in Fairfield, Texas on August 21, 1937. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and friend and ex-husband of 27 years James Wales. Annette is survived by her husband Scott Dotson, sister Hazel Cooper and her five children; son-Mark Norwood and wife Joanie, son-Kenny Mitcheletti, daughter-Lisa Faulkner and husband Michael, daughter-Kelly Click and husband Kenneth, daughter-Kathy Garcia and husband Blady, sister in-law Kim Tucker and husband Donald and her grandchildren; Mark, Brandy, Clint, Brittney, Mason, Brandon, and Julian.

Annette was very talented in interior design and floral design. She was also a licensed Esthetician and worked in the Cosmetic Industry for several years. She loved to cook and entertain and would always welcome everyone with open arms.

Annette will always be remembered for her timeless beauty and warm heart.

She was a wonderful mother and wife and always a loyal friend. She will be sadly missed. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Guardian Angel Home Health and Hospice Care Team for their care in her final days and a very special thank you to her dear friends and care takers Mary Ostheimer and daughter Tawny Ostheimer.

Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2012 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 pm at the Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in the Chapel of the Crowder Funeral Home , 851 FM 517, Dickinson, Texas, with Chaplin Larry Holden, officiating. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Mark Norwood, Michael Faulkner, Kenneth Click, Blady Garcia, Brandon Faulkner, Julian Garcia and Andy Ostheimer.
