She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Horace and Mary Alexander four sisters, Elmira Johnson, Clara Johnson, Melvira Brooks, Fredna Crisler, Ethel Adams-West, and two brothers, William Taft Alexander and Wilbert Alexander. One daughter by marriage, Addie Murle Curry, one adopted child Mary Johnnieann Hite.
