Stella (Higgenbotham) Aten, 66, of Springfield died Friday, November 1, 1996 at Memorial Medical Center.
She was the daughter of Bernard and Vesta Higgenbotham. She married Herman Aten, who preceded her in death in 1986.
Mrs. Aten was a member of Women's Auxiliary Post No. 32.
Survivors: two sons, Teddy Aten of Springfield and Jay Aten of Lincoln; two sisters, Alta Wolf of Springfield and Janice Light of Rolla, Mo.; and three brothers, Robert and Glen Higgenbotham, both of Joliet, and Marvin Higgenbotham of Farnia.
No services will be held.
