Otto H. Miller, 80, of West Main street, Geneseo, died early Friday morning, October 28, in St. Luke's hospital, Davenport. Born February 17, 1880, in Edford township, the son of Gustav and Pauline Pobanz Miller, he was a lifetime resident of Henry County and lived in Geneseo the last 40 years. He was a retired farmer. In March 1906, he married Mary Erdman in Geneseo. She died in 1936. He was a former city alderman and a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ. Surviving are two sons, Wesley of Geneseo and Donald of Hinsdale, a brother Ernest of Geneseo and a sister, Miss Emily Miller of Geneseo. One daughter, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. The funeral was held Monday afternoon, October 31, in Rivenburg funeral home with Rev. Calvin W. Franz, pastor of St. Peter's church and Rev. F. C. Schmidt, former pastor, officiating. Mrs. Darrell Miller was at the organ. Pallbearers were Francis, Ronald, and Darrell Miller, Burdette and Gilbert Erdmann and Arley Krueger. Burial was in Edford cemetery.
