Ella Mae Anderson, 70, of 320 Beacon Avenue, Washington, died unexpectedly at 10 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 1991, in Washington Hospital.

She was born January 1, 1921, in North Clymer, N. Y., a daughter of Emory H. and Elsie Josephine Powers Haines.

Before retiring in 1985, she and her husband operated the Greyhound bus station in Washington for 16 years.

She was a member of the Church of Christ, the Washington Area Senior Citizens and the AARP.

On August 5, 1943, she married Edgar J. Anderson, who survives.

Also surviving are one son, Ronald E. Anderson of Woodbridge, Va.; one daughter, Mrs. James P. (Gail M.) McKeon of Davenport, Fla.; three brothers, John C., Jack W. and Royal C. Haines, all of Canonsburg; three grandchildren, Rebecca Gail Anderson, Amy Elizabeth Anderson and Christy Lynn Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.

ANDERSON - Friends of Ella Mae Anderson of 320 Beacon Avenue, Washington, who died Saturday, February 9, 1991, will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Hummell and Barnhill Funeral Home Inc., 585 Fayette Street, Washington. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, in the Church of Christ, 700 Allison Avenue, Washington, in charge of Andrew Brewster. Interment in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Christ.
