Rose Baecht was born in Chicago, April 27, 1872; came to Kansas during 1877; was married to Frank Martin March 18, 1890; died after a few hours illness, on the twenty-fourth anniversary of her birth, April 27, 1896.
Funeral services were conducted at Agenda, April 29, by Rev. Jenkins, assisted by Rev. Scott. Remains were interred in the Willoughby Cemetery.

Agenda Kansas, Wednesday, at 10 a.m., sorrowing friends paid the last respects to Mrs. Rose Martin, who died Monday night, leaving a little son but a few hours old.
The sympathy of the neighborhood goes out to the sorrowing husband and friends, as Mr. and Mrs. Martin were reared here from childhood and have many friends.
Services were in the M. E. Church, conducted by Rev. Jenkins.
