Final Rites Held For Mrs. Jennie Danner

Services for Virginia Smith Danner, who died at her home east of Latham, Sunday morning after a lengthy illness, were held Monday afternoon at the New Hope Baptist Church. Burial, under the direction of W.W. Jones Funeral Home of Martin, was in the church cemetery. She was 83 years of age.

Mrs. Danner was born in Weakley County on July 9, 1872. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phil Smith. She was married to William Henry Danner, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Mrs. Danner leaves a son; Robert Danner of Latham, a daughter; Gertha Danner Lee of Van Dyke, Michigan, three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
