Glennie Beatrice Powell Johnson, 104, a resident of Wetumpka, died Saturday Sept. 15, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 18 at Santuck Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by husband of 68 years Henry J. Johnson; son, H. Glenn "Buddy" Johnson; two grandsons, Stan Lee Johnson and Gary Stanley Johnson; father and mother and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include son, Fred R. (Janette) Johnson of Wetumpka; daugther-in-law Connie Johnson; brother-in-law Jack (Eunice) Johnson; Four grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dan Johnson, Rick Johnson, Charlie Dismukes, Zack Frith, Jim Johnson, Clay Johnson, Wes Prater, Chad McCain.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas and Martha Sanford, Tommy Sanford, Jimmy and Joann Broadway and Jon Payne.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sept. 17 at Gassett Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to services.
