MCCONNELSVILLE: B. Ruth Crews, 91, of McConnelsville passed away Tuesday May 1,2012 at 2:55 p.m. at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville.
She was born June 4,1920 in West Virginia to the late William Toler and Delphia Gibson Toler. Ruth was a homemaker and an avid gardener and loved her flowers. The greatest joy of her life were her 3 great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter; Susan (Gary) Kaster of McConnelsville; a son; Dave Crews of Zanesville; 2 grandchildren, Krissy (Tony) Machamer of Duncan Falls and Jason Kaster of Zanesville; 3 great grandchildren Karter Kaster, Madelyn and Anna Machamer.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald V. Crews who died in 1971; 2 brothers, Don and Wade; and 2 sisters Katheryn and Opal.
Calling hours will be Thursday May 3, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be held Friday May 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in McConnelsville Cemetery.
