John Welsh. Jr., 42, who hal
been an invalid for several months,
died Sunday at the home of his
sister. Mrs. Fred Palmerton, 1541
Ashburton Avenue.
Mr Welsh was the son of John
Welsh and the late Alice Murray
Welsh. His father was formerly a
member of the Yonkers police
force. The deceased was a native
of Yonkers, and attended St.
Mary's School. He had been employed
as a teamster up until his
illness, by James H. Sullivan, coal
dealer.

The funeral took place this
morn.ng and a High Mass was
sung In St. Joseph's Church at 10
o'clock. Burial was In St. Mary'3
Cemetery.
