Married name spelled "Davidaitis" when arrived to U.S. Have not located documentation she was naturalized.
Sons chose different last names when naturalized - "David" and "Daviditis". One son (Anthony) did not make a change because he died at a young age - about the time the siblings were filing first papers. Benadykta did not change the spelling. Her obituary indicates maiden name "Markavitch". However, her maiden name is indicated on daughter's obituary as "Morris" so apparently father changed his last name once in US. Her children born in U.S. after immigration, spelled last name "Daviditis".
