Loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Carol Lee Spotz, passed away on October 24, 2009.

She was born March 29, 1935 in Hollywood, CA to James and Evelyn Dayton.

After struggling with arthritis for forty-six years. She passed away with cancer in the end. Surrounded by loved ones she is now out of pain and at peace, happily united with her beloved son "Bobby" and other loved ones that preceded her in death. She had compassion for all living things especially animals.

She was a member of the LDS Church, where she held many callings. She believed and loved the gospel and her faith never waned. She was employed by AT&T, Hogle Investment, and Fort Douglas Officers Club for thirty years.

She leaves behind "Stan" a caring and devoted husband who was her true love; loving daughter, Lisa (Jimmy); and her adorable grandchildren, Cassie (Joe) and Josh (Kate); sister, Connie Ann; and brother, Jimmy (Becky).

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. in the Cottonwood Fourth Ward Chapel, 5565 South Neighbor Lane (1610 East). Friends and family can visit on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the Church on Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
