Girl Scout Cookie Sale Pioneer, Dies

Mrs. Bernice "Bunny" Albert, 74, of Baltimore, Md., formerly of Forward Township, a pioneer in the national Girl Scout Cookie Sale project, died of natural cuases Wednesday night in West Chester, PA., at the home of her daughter.

She had been involved with the Girl Scouts for many years.

Born August 2, 1910, in Evans City, she was the daughter of William L and Mamie Reynolds Burr.

A registered nurse, she was graduated from the Homeopathic Hospital, Shadyside, in 1929.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Connoquenessing, and was active in the Daughters of American Revolutions.

She married Dean Regis Albert on Sept. 29, 1939. They lived in Wilkinsburg until 1944, when they moved to Baltimore.

Surviving are her husband, Dean R. Albert; a daughter, Mrs. Greg (Dorothy) Thomas of West Chester; and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Doyle of Pittsburgh.

...Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Connoquenessing.
