Lucille J. Conn Brown, 68, who made her home with a son, Charles Johnson, died at 4:35 PM Friday, Feb. 27, 1987, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center; she has been hospitalized since Jan. 2. Born April 12, 1920, in Paris, KY, she came to Laayette 25 years ago. She a receptionist at Hanna Community Center. She was a member of Bethel AME Church and served on the board of stewards. Surviving with her son, Charles, is a sister, Mrs. Nan Thomas of Lafayette, and several nieces and nephews. Services March 2 at Bethel AME Church, the Rev. Mallory Terrance officiating; internment at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
