Alice R. Chustz, a resident and native of Ventress, died at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at Pointe Coupee Nursing Home after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was 90 years old.

Visitation was at St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Roads, from 11:00 a.m. until religious service at noon Wednesday, February 4, 2004, conducted by the Rev. Michael Schatzle.

Interment was in False River Memorial Park. Niland's Funeral Home Service Inc., New Roads, in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dolzey Chustz Jr.; parents, Francis and Alia Robillard; a sister, Adele Guillaume; brothers, Henry, Albin, Ferdinand and Norman Robillard; and a great-granddaughter, Tiffany Glaze.

Survivors include a daughter, a son, a sister, eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
