Bertha L. Haskell, 90, widow of Arthur C. Haskell, of 24 Newton St. died Monday at a local hospital. Born in Portland, she was the daughter of George B. and Lillabelle Fitch Hodgdon. She attended Portland schools. Mrs. Haskell was a milliner, employed by the J.R. Libby Co. and Eastman Brothers. She also worked at Moran's Store in teh Riverton section for 27 years until her retirement 15 years ago. She was a member of the Rebekahs and a charter member of teh Woodfords Congregational Church. Mr. Haskell died in 1952. Mrs. Haskell is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Marguerite) Jenkins of Portland and Mrs. Gerald (Eulalia) Connors of Millford, Conn.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at 749 Congress St., with burial in Eastern Cemetery, Gorham.
