Garrett Alford, 21, of 1125 Linwood Ave., died Sept. 4, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
He is survived by a son, A'Lijah Alford; his mother Julia Kennedy of Lumberton; a sister, Destinie Alford of Lumberton; three brothers, Kendrick Alford and Journey Alford of Lumberton, and Isiah Kennedy of Greensboro.
The funeral will be held at First Baptist Church in Lumberton, officiated by Rev. T.R. Murray. Burial will follow at Singletary Cemetery. Worley Mortuary of Fairmont is serving the family.
