Margaret W. Breakfield, 89, of Ellisville, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at First United Methodist Church Ellisville. Rev. John Richardson and Rev. Chris Layton will officiate. The body will be placed in the church at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Breakfield was a homemaker and a beautician. She was a member of First United Methodist Church Ellisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Breakfield; parents, W.R. Williamson and Retta Shows Williamson; and two sisters, Lucy W. Pace and Diantha W. Sit.
Survivors include one son, Robert R. "Bobby" Breakfield, Jr. of Ellisville; two daughters, Elizabeth "Liz" Wade and husband Frankie of Petal and Marcia B. Holston of Ellisville , four grandchildren, Ashley W. Landry and husband Chris, Benjamin R. Wade and wife Mandi, Brandon Holston, and Lorann Manns and husband Justin; five great grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, Wade, Cole and Maci; and one sister, Ada W. Smith of Ellisville.
Pallbearers will be Billy Campbell, Richard Smith, Eric Smith, Brian Smith, Danny Sit and Chris Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Smith, Lester O'Neal, and Dr. Jeffrey Morris.
The family would like to give special thanks and appreciation to her caregivers, Magalene Hicks, Teresa Brady and Wanda McCraney, MS Home Health, and the doctors, nurses and staff at Wesley Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi, 800 Avery Boulevard, Suite 100, Ridgeland, MS 39157-5225, American Heart Association P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692, or First United Methodist Church Ellisville.
