EL CAMPO - Lorene Kacal Brooks, age 81, of Sweeny and formerly of El Campo, died March 26, 2010 in Sweeny. She was born Dec. 15, 1928 in Detroit, to the late Russell Lowell and Irene Minnie Johnson Zuber.
She is survived by son, Jerome F. Kacal Jr. of San Antonio; a sister, four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents; first husband, Jerome F. Kacal Sr.; second husband, Cleeo Brooks; son, Terry Kacal.
There will be no visitation at Wheeler Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery El Campo, Monday, with Pastor Epperly officiating.
Funeral arrangements under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home.
