She was born in Mahanoy City, PA, daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary (O'Brien) Brady.
Helen was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School, Class of 1929, received her BS from Kutztown State College and her ME from Temple University. She was a retired Elementary Principal from the Harrisburg School District.
She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America - Court Kateri, PSER, and St. Canicus, Mahanoy City.
Surviving are nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Whalen and 2 brothers, James and Lawrence Brady.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9: 30 a.m. on Saturday, November 19th at St. Canicus, with viewing from 9 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment in Parish Cemetery, Mahanoy Twp.
In lieu of flowers, family would prefer memorials be made to St. Canicus Church.
