Margaret Harvey Bovee, 85,of Bedford and formerly of Danville, died February 19, 2012, at Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born in Roanoke on November 4, 1926, a daughter of the late Horace Harvey and Lora Meador Harvey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gayle Eugene Bovee Sr. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Danville and was retired as a clerk with Dan River Inc. Later in life she helped her son, Tom, at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Bedford.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas A. Bovee and his wife, Tricia, of Bedford; Gayle E. Bovee Jr. and his wife, Vicki; two daughters, Bessie Lee Wyatt and Jenny Lynn Morton.
A graveside service will be at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, Va.
