Son of Francis Marion Laird I and Nancy Fanny Wilson, his siblings were Mary Eliz, John Wallace, Hammer Nathaniel and Dola Bee Laird.

Francis married Hettie Harris early 1910 and they had two daughters, Nancy Jane and Nola Earlene Laird. Hettie died in 1916. Francis married Mattie Mae Conder 6 Sep 1917 in Wise County, Texas. Francis and Mattie had a large family, Children: Mary Eliz, Francis Marion III, George William, Myrtle Annis, Waymon, Nova Alta Louise, David Norman, Howard Kenneth, James Wilson and Billie Ray Laird.

F.M. Laird Succumbs to Two Weeks Illness

F. M. Laird, age 53, died Thursday in the Hamilton Hospital following a two weeks illness of pneumonia.

Funeral services were held Friday morning at 10:00 from the McCracken funeral Home. Burial was in the new cemetery.

His wife and eleven children survive. A son succumbed several weeks ago to pneumonia also.
