Some researchers have her birth as March 3, 1775, if her death age is correct on her headstone it is February 28, 1775. Her stone was found laying in the woods near the cemetery.

Elizabeth married Alexander McCoy in Greene, Pennsylvania in 1795. Their children were Thomas McCoy, Ruth McCoy Pike, Sarah McCoy Barnes, Matilda McCoy, Eliza McCoy Thompson, Mary McCoy Mercer and Absalom McCoy.
