Mrs. Louise Arens, 91, Wabasha, died at 2:35 p.m. Monday at Wabasha Nursing Home where she had been a resident since May 23. She was the former Wabasha County school teacher and had retired as clerk at the Joseph Meyer Co., here. The former Louise Meyer, she was born in Wabasha, June 30, 1881, the daughter of Joseph and Henrietta Klaus Meyer. On Jan. 27, 1914, she married Emil Arens, who died May 26, 1923. Survivors are nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday at Grace Episcopal Church, Wabasha, the Rev. Roger Meyer officiating, with burial in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at Buckman-Schierts Funeral Home here Wednesday after 2 p.m. and until 1:45 p.m. Thursday. A memorial to Grace Memorial Church is being arranged.
