Pearl Osa Haines, 85, of Seymour died friday Jan. 19, 1990 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital.
She was born on May 8, 1904 in the Seymour vicinity to John Brice and Nancy Rockwell Faris. She was united in marriage on Aug. 7, 1926 to Keith A. Haines. He preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers; Orville, Grada, Sylvester and Everett; and two sisters; Estella Squire and Amanda Swan. She is survived by three nieces; Irva L. Cain of Sanibel, Fla.; and Willa Wade and Dorothy Brown of Seymour; and one nephew, Richard Faris of Seymour.
She was a member of the Seymour Christian Church and worked for 55 years in a dental office for Dr. J. E. Scott and Dr. R. L. Scott. She retired in 1981.
Services will be tomorrow, Jan. 23 at 1:20 p.m. at the Randolph Funeral Home in Seymour with the Rev. DeWayne Lawson officiating. Interment will be at the Southlawn Cemetery.
There will be a visitation tonight at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association which can be left at funeral home.
