Bonnie took the hand of her grandson, Lance, who led her to her parents as she returned to her Heavenly Father on October 13, 2004 after a valiant battle with arthritis, diabetes, and Parkinson's disease. She spent the last hours of her life surrounded by her family and friends who love her dearly. We know she is now free from the pain she has courageously endured.

Born October 18, 1927 in Pleasant View, Idaho to Joseph LeRoy and Jane Hughes Jessop. She was raised in Millville and graduated from South Cache High School.

Married her eternal sweetheart, Lloyd Barker, on February 12, 1947.

Bonnie is a longtime resident of the Taylorsville/West Valley City area. She is a faithful member of the LDS Church, serving in numerous callings over her lifetime, her favorite was being involved in the Primary and Sunday School. Bonnie was a meticulous homemaker and always enjoyed a clean home and beautiful yard.

She was a beautiful, elect lady and took pride in always looking her best. She lovingly accepted foster sons into her home and treated them as her own. She was a great example of a loving mother and grandmother and will be held forever close to our hearts and we look forward to seeing her again.

Survived by her loving and devoted husband, Lloyd Barker; children, Bradley (Joan) Barker, Sherry (Ralph) Burton, Vickie (Ray) Jaquier, Cindy (Willard) Pratt, and Chris (Lyndie) Barker; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, sister, Beth Williams Archibald; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Ramona Curry; and grandson, Lance Lloyd Burton.

The family would like to thank the wonderful and caring people from Harmony Hospice who lovingly helped her.
