The full name of Emma's sons, and their dates of birth, according to the WW1 Draft Card Registration in 1918, shows Willaim Stewart Carpenter, born 25 Dec. 1873 and Samuel Thomas Carpenter, born 22 August 1875. William was a printer for the US Government and Samuel was a Steam Fitter for the US Government.
