Gone But Not Forgotten

Gone yet not forgotten,
Although we are apart,
your spirit lives within me,
Forever in my heart.

No farewell was spoken,
No time to say good,
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knows why.
With Eternal Love... Crystal

THE MEASURE OF A MAN

Not - How did he die? But - How did he live? Not - What did he gain? But - What did he give?

These are the things that measure the worth of a man as a man, regardless of birth.

Not - What was his station? But - had he a heart? And - How did he play his God-given part?

Was he ever ready with a word of good cheer? To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?

Not - What was his church? Not - What was his creed? But - Had he befriended those really in need?

Not - What did the sketch in the newspaper say? But - How many were sorry when he passed away?

These are the things that measure the worth of a man as a man, regardless of birth.

The Broken Chain

I little knew that morning. God was going to call your name. In life I loved you dearly, in death I do the same.
It broke my heart to loose you, you did not go alone, for part of me went with you, the day God called you home.
You left me beautiful memories your love is still my guide, and though we cannot see you, you're always at my side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Even though your better half may be gone in body, his spirit lives on through the many memories and pictures he had me take of both of you..he is your angel from above...REST IN PEACE LEVERTIS WILLIAMS, GONE TOO SOON...WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!! Love Marie
