Sally Ann Anderson

Mrs. Anderson, 68, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on August 20, 2012 at her residence after a valiant battle with lung cancer. She was born on October 14, 1943 in Dubois, PA, a daughter of the late Amos and Helen Ross Sheen.

She is predeceased by her brother, Billy.

Sally grew up in Elyria, Ohio with her siblings, Dwight, Billy, and Linda. She graduated from Elyria High School in 1962, and married Joseph March Brown in 1963. Mrs. Anderson was widowed in 1975, and went to live with her son, Brian. She earned her CDA in Atlanta, and they moved to Charlotte from Atlanta in 2003, where she loved taking care of children, both in day care centers, and as a private nanny. Sally had many friends of all ages. Mrs.

Anderson is survived by her sons, Allen Scott Sheen and Brian Patrick Brown of Charlotte, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, Aug. 24th at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Charlotte or a local humane society. Condolences may be offered at www.HarryandBryantFuneralHome.com.
